Patina Strings is owned and operated by professional string players in Los Angeles, California. We take pride in offering quality, vintage-inspired modern instruments at exceptional pricing. All of our instruments are professionally set up and tested in our workshop to maximize tone quality and playability.

Our belief is that as a musician, you just want to be able to do what you love. And for the budding musician, high-quality and affordability should be available and expected to exist in the same stringed instrument. With that vision, Patina Strings was born. Each instrument is hand-made from the highest quality tonewoods, professionally tuned, and triple-checked before reaching your hands.
